HANNspree Stiggy Motorsport Honda riders in second row at Brands Hatch
In unpredictable weather conditions, with rain hanging over the circuit as the final WSS qualifying was about to start, both Stiggy riders pushed hard from the start trying to set a good lap time in the dry. Carrying out their mission, both HANNspree Stiggy Motorsport Honda riders managed to improve significantly on their previous lap times posting the sixth and seventh fastest laps respectively before the rain. With only a few minutes of the session remaining, the rain stopped but no rider was able to make further improvement.

In free practice, we managed to get the bike working better then yesterday. I was feeling more and more comfortable and put in as many laps as possible. We made some adjustment to the gearing for qualifying and it made a big difference. We also made the bike a bit shorter and that worked out well too. We knew the weather was changing, and there was a good chance of rain, so I tried to get in a good lap in the start of the session. I managed to do this, but it's a shame we didn't get more track time as I wanted to get more settled. But anyway, I'm quite happy to start from the second row. There are still things we will work on in the warm-up tomorrow morning to try and get the perfect race set-up.
Robbin - 7th, 1.28.459
Our plan to set a fast lap early into the session worked perfectly. The bike is feeling really good and the changes we made to the chassis today made it even more stable and easy to ride. I didn't have enough time to make a 100% perfect lap before the rain, but qualifying on the second row is something I'm really happy about. It would have been good to get enough track time to get more comfortable and try different settings. In tomorrow's warm-up we will have a chance to try the things we didn't have time to try in qualifying and then hopefully we will end up with a good package to race with.

We were lucky that both riders managed to set their fastest lap times in the start of the final qualifying session. Especially Josh as he had to work his way up from a provisional 15th place. We managed to get his bike working better today, which gave him a more comfortable and confident feeling with his machine. I'm confident that both riders would have been able to advance even further if it hadn't started raining, but anyway we are satisfied with our results today. Both riders have a very good chance in the race tomorrow and hopefully both will get on the podium.
